Privacy Policy update: website analytics
September 17, 2026 - Darrel Herbst
We have updated our Privacy Policy. The changes take effect on 17 September 2026.
The update adds a new section on website analytics. In summary:
- Some of our websites use Plausible Analytics, including Code Run Game. Plausible uses no cookies, collects no personal information, and reports only aggregate statistics such as page views.
- Other websites use Google Analytics, including CB Trivia and Witch Catcher. If you allow it, Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information about your visit, such as the pages you view, your browser and device type, and your approximate location.
- Google Analytics is off unless you turn it on. These sites ask when you first visit, and Google Analytics does not load unless you accept. We use it only to measure visits, with Google’s advertising features turned off. You can change your choice at any time from the site’s Cookie Settings link.
We are posting this notice because the Privacy Policy asks us to tell you here whenever we make a substantive change to how we use your information.
